Mary Blankenship

APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC

The founder of Xenith Behavioral Health, Mary Blankenship (APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC) is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in integrated psychiatry and telehealth-based mental health care. With expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, Mary provides evidence-based medication management and psychotherapy while incorporating holistic approaches to mental wellness.

Originally hailing from Minnesota, Mary has lived in Texas, New Mexico, and Oregon, where she now resides. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Anthropology, she served in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic, then returned to school to complete a Nursing degree. After serving 10 years in Med/Surg and Public Health, she returned to school again to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. After working as an FNP for many years, observing the interconnectedness of the health of the body and the mind, she decided to dedicate her years of expertise in psychiatry, becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. 

Mary is bilingual English/Spanish with decades of experience working with the Hispanic community. She has dedicated her life’s work to providing the quality, inclusive care for EVERYONE regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, or ability.

Mary loves hiking with her two dogs/fur-babies, Diablo (German Shephard) and Qurotus (American Bulldog), traveling and meeting new people from all walks of life, and gardening.
